Two companies of the Strategic Business Unit "Engineered Components" of the Barnes Group Inc. have released a technical article in the "Transmission Technology International"
The global shifts and most recent trends in the drive concepts of vehicles are described in the article and evaluated for their impact on modern and future-oriented components for the different drive solutions. More and more the entire drive train (ranging from the engine to the wheel and the wheels) has to be seem as “one components versus the historic view of individual elements such as the engine, the clutch or the transmission.
