Seeger V-Rings

Inverted lug design for shafts and bores requiring a smaller radial mounting height than the Seeger rings to DIN 471/472. They have a concentric shoulder with respect to the axis of the shaft or housing and thus substantially less imbalance. Seeger V rings simultaneously transmit axial forces and serve as radial guides. They are designed in accordance with the Seeger principle of the curved beam of equal strength. The required recesses are each located on the groove side.

Applications:

  • In designs with small radial mounting heights
  • For securing needle bearings and seals
  • Where visual appearance is a consideration
  • Where additional mating part clearance is required
