Crescent Rings

H-style rings for shafts are the only radially installed locking rings designed in accordance with the Seeger principle of the curved beam of equal strength. The envelopment angle is relatively large due to its resulting high elasticity. The shoulder height of these rings is not as large as in the ST and DIN 6799 versions. These crescent rings are manufactured for shaft diameters up to 55 mm.

Applications:

  • In universal-joint propeller shaft constructions
  • For internally securing needle bushes,
  • In flat link articulated chains.
