Data Charts of Hardness

In the data charts or their introductions, the hardness of the individual versions and dimensions of Seeger rings are given in Rockwell C (HRC) and Vickers (HV). Vickers hardness can be measured on all thicknesses at an appropriate load. Due to the high load of 150 kg, Rockwell measurement can only be applied to thicknesses in excess of 1,1 mm. Vickers hardness must be measured on smaller thicknesses.

Converting hardness values always involves inaccuracies. Whenever possible, conversion should be avoided, although it cannot always be avoided completely. This applies to all conversion from hardness values to strength and vice versa.
